If you have questions about Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Herbs, Homeopathy, Nutrition, SOT(R), CMRT, NET, Physical Medicine Modalities, or any of the other modalities I use, give me a call and I will be happy to answer your questions. Your question might even end up here!
What do you do?
I do a real blend of Healing methods that I have learned over my time as a Chiropractor. Acupuncture (Chinese and Japanese), Neuro Emotional Technique, Sacro Occipital Technic (in which I have earned Advanced Proficiency through SORSI), Soft Tissue techniques such as Graston, Nutritional counseling, Herbal Therapies, Essential Oils, Homeopathy… and more. I really love to learn how to heal the body and when I find something that does this well, I add it to the mix.
What is your Adjusting Style?
I tend to use my hands, but have, and will use an activator, table drops, etc. Really I try to adapt my style to what the patient on the table likes and responds well to. Some people hate having their neck adjusted with a big crack… so I don’t use that technique. I use others.
Is Chiropractic Dangerous?
Just like all healing methods if it can help it can hurt. This is why you don’t want uncle Bob adjusting your neck. I know how to make sure it is safe. I do a detailed history and set of exams to rule out many potential problems. Even then I am very careful. I can’t say that it is without risk… taking medications like advil and others have risks too. I can say that I have never borken a bone, caused a stroke, or caused more than transitory muscle soreness that often comes with allowing a muscle to finally relax after days/weeks/years of being tense.
What is Acupuncture?
This is an ancient healing method that treats the energy patterns that run throughout your body. It is very effective at more than just pain relief. Patients are often shocked at how much it can really do.
Do you have to use needles?
No. Acupuncture points can be stimulated with pressure, cold laser, electrical stimulation, and even magnets. For those that are afraid of needles I use other methods or use an emotional protocol that eliminates the fear.
Do you re-use needles
Never. The needles I use are one time use only and then disposed of through medical waste containers.
